Refund & Cancellation Policy

At The Psychotherapy Studio, we value your time and commitment to therapy. This policy outlines our approach to session cancellations, rescheduling, and refunds.

1. Cancelling or Rescheduling Sessions

  • To cancel or reschedule a therapy session, please provide at least 48 hours’ notice prior to your scheduled appointment.

  • Sessions cancelled or rescheduled with 48 hours’ notice will not incur any charges, and your session can be rebooked at a convenient time.

 

2. Late Cancellations and Missed Sessions

  • Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled session or missed appointments will be charged in full.

  • We understand that unexpected circumstances may sometimes prevent you from giving 48 hours’ notice. In such cases, we will always take these circumstances into consideration and do our best to accommodate your situation.

 

3. Refunds

  • Payment for sessions is non-refundable except in the rare case where a session is cancelled by the therapist.

  • If a session is cancelled by the therapist, you will be offered a full refund or an alternative appointment, whichever you prefer.

 

4. How to Cancel or Reschedule

  • Cancellations or rescheduling requests should be made via [Insert preferred contact method – email/phone].

  • Please include your name, appointment date and time, and reason for cancellation or rescheduling if possible.

 

5. Commitment to Understanding

  • We aim to be flexible and compassionate, recognising that emergencies and unforeseen events happen. While our standard policy is 48 hours’ notice, we will always do our best to consider individual circumstances on a case-by-case basis.
